Steel Specifications
The grade of steel selected is subject to the application, our extensive experience is available to you and our technical staff will be pleased to advise you.
Heat treatment is carried out in our own plant, the optimum combination of hardness and strength being dependent upon the steel specification and knife application, which is achieved by careful control of the tempering cycle.
We are also able to advise on a range of specialised coatings for your specific application.

Special Purpose Knives
We make a broad range of knives for special purpose equipment, the example illustrated is a "stab knife" used in blow moulding machinery for removing projections from the moulded plastic containers.
